We need to get organized now. Earlier in the summer, we attended a pre-orientation workshop in Washington for all Fulbright Scholars and Students going to the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, and India. There were over 800 of us and we learned much about the role of the Fulbrighter, cross-cultural issues, health issues, personal safety and emergency preparedness, tax issues as well as regional issues.

Now we are reading our notes from the conference and our Lonely Planet Guide to Jordan, a gift from Baby Poppy, and beginning our packing in earnest. Kevin got his Euros for Paris today!
