Christmas with the Boys!

Wow, what a Christmas! The Christmas tree was up and the Treehouse decorated when Wyatt and Poppy arrived!

We had a big cookout in the back yard. Wyatt helped Hockey Ga make a fire. We roasted hot dogs and enjoyed a fine lunch.

That night we saw the live Christmas Creche at Eastminister. Afterwards, we petted the animals--Wyatt pretended to be one.

Everyone likes running on the forest paths that Hockey Ga has made.

And, playing baseball!

And Treehouse games,

And making playdo monsters,

We enjoyed fun bubblebaths!

We had a TreeHouse Party on a beautiful day. Good friends came over and we made gingerbread houses and ate pizza.

We celebrated Hockey Ga's and Becky Ga's anniversary at Mios.

We worked puzzles, played games, and counted Bakugans!

We watched a hawk in the tree in the front yard.

Poppy made a Lego version (supposedly only for those over ten years of age) of the Guggenheim Museum!

A huge mystery gift came for Poppy and Wyatt on Christmas Eve! They opened and opened and opened and and opened and opened and it turned out to be a small photo of Uncle Joke.

Hockey Ga read "The Night Before Christmas" to everyone.

Becky Ga roasted chestnuts in the open fire!

Mary Green and Carroll visited.

We hung stockings and waited on Santa to come and he did!

We had a nice Christmas Lunch--roasted vegetables with couscous and salad. This year's crackers had numbered musical pipes. Hockey Ga was the conductor and by reading a score and pointing to our numbers to tell us when to play, we became an orchestra playing Christmas Tunes! And we watched a Butterfly grow from a tea bag in a glass teapot!

And we remembered our Helen.

After Poppy and family left for Lecie's home in Madison, Wyatt played with Becky Ga and Hockey Ga in the new camoflauge tent. He also rode the new Turtle car to the park. He enjoyed picnics in the treehouse.

We had a great Botticelli game when Theo came over for supper. He stumped us by being King Kong!

Wyatt and the Gas enjoyed a delicious cheese and mushroom pizza at Villa Tronco. Hockey Ga and Wyatt talked in the secret language that only the Gas and the boys know.

Jolie did her best to hide.

It was a great Christmas for all!
