Block 27 has always been the Israeli exhibit at Auschwitz I and it has been recently renovated. I found it very moving.

In another room are the stories of Auschwitz-Bikenau inmates, such as the young diarist Etty Hillesum and Roman Frister  who survived and went on to write The Cap.

Another room held these delicate pieces of art. 

And the last room holds the Book of Names.
