There was a big Women's March in Washington on 21 January, the day after Trump's inauguration and more people attended that than Trump's inauguration! People marched all over the world, protesting many things, most in reaction to Trump and his conservative and crazy platform being elected to President!
I was lucky enough to go with Laura and Erin and we had a fantastic time. Here we are in our outfits we purchased at Party City!
We drove up on Friday, spent the night in Arlington, marched on Saturday, and drove back on Sunday. I took these photos and was able to use them in a power point presentation that I held for my good students in my Women's Studies course I have been teaching at the Shepherd Center! The signs certainly illustrate a lot of the issues in a women's studies course!
