It was lovely to be in Biscopice--there is Leon greeting me. And, so lovely to be with Ania and Kaja. The renovations on the red roofed cottage are beautiful--the garden room is complete (the photograph at the top of my blog is taken from the garden room of a window box just outside), the newly renovated kitchen is green with lavender both inside and outside the window, and there is even a tiny garden house now, but suitable enough to be a guest house.

Kaja gave me a tour of the village--a one stop operation surrounded by hay fields, cozy cottages, a lovely church on a hill, grazing cows and horses, vegetable and flower gardens, and a forest with beautiful trees.

On Wednesday night, Kaja hosted a supper party. We had hoped to roast kielbasa in the back garden but it rained so we roasted the country keilbasa in the new Ikea oven. We had salad from the garden and strawberry cobbler made with strawberries from the garden. The bread was fresh and good. The guests included Sister Ania who speaks English and teaches Kaya's Bible group. The other guests were the members of the Bible group. Another Sister, Krista, had spent a high school group in Missouri and spoke English with a good American accent.

And, Kevin's and my old friend from Krakow, Ramon, also known as Wizzy, came.

On Wednesday night, Kaja and I went into Krakow and had a lovely dinner in Kasimierz. Later Monica arrived in Biscopice and we had a happy time!
