We started in Western North Carolina, in Fairview, where we rented Our House, a great house-party house in The Cove. Lecie and Paul and Francis, Sophie and Jonathan and Akihort, Brett and Jake and Wyatt all came and we had a great week there.
We held a big picnic at Our House and invited the farm families. That was fun but regretfully I did not take photos. We played charades after the picnic which was even more fun!
Lecie and Paul had to return after the weekend as they both had to work. It was so good to see them.
Ivy and Wyatt had a good time!
They have certainly grown up since these crib baby photos!
Our House has a big playroom which the boys enjoyed. Here Francis is making an interesting shot for Akihort to admire.
The property around Our House is lovely and fun. Akihort and Francis enjoyed the hammock!
And feeding the Koi as well as chickens and horses!
They enjoyed games on my iPhone.
And relaxing in the Hot Tub!
Helping Annie with four-year-old camp!
Here Akihort shows excellent form!
As does Francis POP!
Four-year-old camp included a play! The big boys played the villains who try to take over the town!
Horses were in the play!
Akihort entertained with a song from the Dickens musical he was in during his school year.
John Ager treated the boys to a truck ride.
One day, Will Hamilton took Kevin, Jake, and Jonathan on a challenging hike.
And a delicious lunch at the Amish Bakery nearby.
A special treat was to see the ten piglets living there!
We held the birthday party at a Brew Pub where there was blue grass music.
The special cupcakes exploded with sparklers on top and M and M's inside!
One day Jake took the boys to see the Charlotte Panthers practice football. And Kevin and I drove with Sophie and Jonathan up the Blue Ridge Parkway.
We visited the Folk Art Center and took a hike up to lovely gardens.

We had a nice supper at an Asheville Brew Pub!
It was fun to see cousins and friends. Annie Louise brought us veggies and flowers from her spectacular gardens.
Here Annie's lovely flowers are being packed to take to market!
We saw Isbell!
One day we trekked up Chimney Rock!
Playing by the magnificent waterfall
Scrambling on the rocks!
All the way to the very top!
And a gorgeous view!

On Friday night we went to the farm for Toasts and Cake for the groom Mark and bride Asia.
There were so many delicious layered cakes with chocolate all made by Betsy. It was quite a feast!
The Trampoline was very popular!
The wedding was Saturday night. It was pouring down rain at first, but the sun came out during the ceremony. Still the boys managed to get a lot of mud on the pants!
The ceremony was under a big tent.
Afterwards we were treated to a huge, delicious covered dish supper!
Uncle David and Jonathan enjoying the supper!
Little Eva Hamilton in her spotty party dress.
Lovely apples ripening on the trees
And there was dancing!
Everyone was amazed by this little guy--I think it is Levi Ager

Jonathan and Sophie were equally good!
I tried to get POP and Wyatt to dance with me,
This nice lady saw that I wanted to dance and she asked me. We had a good time! I think POP on the right looks impressed! And Wyatt took the photo with my Iphone!
