On 29 October, Louis, Sylvie, Lynn, and I trucked out to the State Fair. The weather was perfect and we had a great time!
We saw great exhibits. The cakes were fantastic like this peacock.

Flower Displays
The One-Eared Cow glass company sported a apectacular display of glass. Lynn looks the the beautiful falling leaves. There were pumpkins and gourds, baskets of vegetables, a floor-to-ceiling Christmas tree, and giant insects in the garden!

We had a delicious supper--Kevin chose the Elvis Burger, a hamburger with all the trimmings plus peanut butter and banana! Sylvie and Louis had the sausage sandwich with peppers and onions and I had a delicious barbeque sandwich!

And, then the Best Part-- walking the Midway-- lit up, noisy, and full of life. Helen loved this place!
Sylvie enjoyed the games. The carnies were terrific with their spiels as colorful as the stuffies!
This ride looked very fast and scary!

We also walked through a lovely bird display.

Glimpsing a rider on an elephant on our way out. A great night out!
