A Day of Pleasure

American Thanksgiving is pretty quiet in UK. I went to Janet's knitting class on the new West Campus and then met Kevin at the University Library. And what to my amazement was a Thanksgiving lunch. Sweet Potatoes, Greens, and Turkey with cranberries and soooooo delicious!

The inside of the Univ Library Tea Room, a good place to eat!

Well, so many of our days are filled with pleasure but the Sunday after Thanksgiving was especially so. We started out around 11 on a field trip to Ely with dear friends Susie and Gemma. Susie drove, Kevin in front, Gemma, Princess Elsie, and I in back of Susie's little car which has taken us on many trips before

Susie, Princess Elsie, and Kevin on a different field trip.

They took us to Ely for another Thanksgiving where we had a good walk along the waterfront.

We stopped at the Cutter and enjoyed a delicious lunch.

And afterwards walked landward toward the cathedral.

It was deliciously chilly and the sun was shining.

We learned about Eels and spotted an eel hive!

And a wonderful time was had by Elsie!

Which one is Elsie?
