Kevin and I spent a lovely month in Asheville in Randy Allemand's Compound in Oakley, near Biltmore Village.
We love the Forestry Camp restaurant in Biltmore Village (a WPA building restored).

A charity party, guest of Annie, for the Blue Ridge Parkway at Zealandia Castle on Beaucatcher's Mountain. Quite a Lovely affair
With a gorgeous view!
A walk up Little Pinacle on a spectacular day.

We went to a superb production of The Wizard of Oz! Annie and John and Amy and Jamie and boys joined us.

Kevin and I had a fine meal at another favorite restaurant, Sovereign Remedies. This was the meat and cheese board.
And another favorite, Chai Pani, best Indian ever!
We visited Annie Louise an the lovely house that she and Isaiah built.

Her property includes an old cemetery and she is working to find out more about it and about the people buried there.

Will had mounted an exhibit of his Susie's art work. We missed the big opening which was a big success but saw the exhibit.

I've always loved Susie's stylish work, especially the portraits of family and life on the farm.

We enjoyed family dinners--this one at Amy and Jamie's. It was good to see Rachel who was visiting her boys, Jamie and Asher, who are living at farm and going to school in area.

And another nice dinner at Shirley and Dumont's
That is Shirley's mother, Betty, to the right of Annie. Wish I could remember who she is talking to, maybe that is Douglas's wife and maybe that is Douglas, sitting next to her talking to Cindy. Susie on left.
And the Big House with Eva, Dumont, Levi, and Cyrus.
Lots of good music. Here at the Big House, Kevin, Cyrus, and Ann entertain at a Democrat party..
And a Sunday hymn sing at the Big House, Kevin and Annie singing this kinda lugubrious hymn.
The weather was perfect and always spectacular views.
I especially love driving on the parkway.

Kevin and I walked a lot in Oakley neighborhood.
We sent trick or treat packages to Wyatt and POP!
This scary cat lived across from us.
I made some progress with HHMEC by having stationary and envelopes printed.

Glenn and Kevin came in and had lunch at another table and joined us for the photo. Nice time for all!
We were home for Thanksgiving when Ania and Heather visited.
